
Nathan became involved with The Waters
early on, acting as a
consultant to help guide
our development team through the initial
phases of the project, as he’s done for a
variety of similar
Traditional Southern
Neighborhoods. As his visits here intensified,
though, so too did his belief that The Waters
was destined to
become something special,
even historic. Poised to become a
national
model of how to do things right. Shortly
thereafter, he
joined us full time to become
our Director of Marketing and Design.
Nathan received his undergraduate degree from the University of
Virginia and his law degree from the University of Alabama. He
served as an Army JAG officer with the 1st Cavalry Division as well
as a JAG officer with the Alabama Air National Guard. He is a
frequent speaker to organizations and groups interested in
placemaking as an economic development tool.
