Michael Bunce, Director
of Construction Management

Mike brings over 20 years of placemaking
experience to The Waters, most recently
as the founder and president of LDSI, a town
planning firm serving the greater Charlotte,
North Carolina, region.

His experience is broad. A registered
landscape architect, he has served as an
economic development coordinator, contractor,
developer, chairman of a historic review board,
chairman of a municipality’s Land Use Task
Force, president of a neighborhood association,
and a member of the county’s Planning Commission.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University,
and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
